Das ist fantastisch!(video)

The video, entitled “Pussy”, contains pornographic scenes showing the musicians in explicit sex scenes filmed in the style of German adult films.
German rock band Rammstein shocks the world again. Notorious “Du Hast Mich” musicians posted their new video on the Internet.
The stars of the German rock music have always attracted the public attention with their looks, music, videos and lyrics. Their “Mein Teil” video, for instance, was dedicated to a German cannibal. Rammstein gives shocking live performances in which frontman Till Lindemann imitates acts of sexual intercourse with percussionist Christian “Flake” Lorenz, ejaculating on him from a plastic phallus. Making a porn music video for the band is a logic progression of their work, although few people would expect that they would go that far.

The name of the video – “Pussy” – says it all. The plot of the video is simple and plain, like a German porn flick with the world-known “Das ist fantastisch” exclamation. All members of the band appear in the video playing the roles of hot lovers – from playboys to androgyny transvestites. The men have hardcore sex with pretty blonde and brunette women, and the video ends with all the male actors ejaculating.

The video was directed by renowned Swedish director Jonas Akerlund. He is known for his work with such superstars as Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lady Gaga, Metallica and others. Many of the videos, which he directed, received numerous awards and attracted a lot of public attention. One may recollect one of his most controversial videos – “Smack My Bitch Up” – which he made for Prodigy.

Rammstein’s new video is a shock. However, a closer look at the video shows that it is only a collage. Percussionist “Flake” appears in the video as a transvestite, whereas Till Lindemann’s body appears to be different in various scenes of the video.
