Approximately 10 years ago, children began to disappear from an amusement park of the British town of Kent. The kids would enter the hall of mirrors and never came out.

We live in a 3-D space where everything is measured by height, width and length, and we are only capable of thinking within these limits. We know that one dimension is an endless straight line. Europe wants to increase its weight in the world.

The European Union needs the joint all-European army. The US administration is very negative about the idea. The question about the all-European army was pushed into the background after the Balkan war, when European armies were acting within the framework of KFOR and NATO. The USA believed that one needed to strengthen NATO, and everyone agreed. France was trying to show resistance to it, but after the nation became a full-fledged member of NATO on Sarkozy’s initiative, the French administration forgot about the creation of the all-European army too.

Things changed in 2009. The European Parliament established the Rapid Deployment Force of the European Union in 2009. Last week, officials of the Italian administration put forward a suggestion to look into the matter of the European Army again. Italy’s Foreign Minister Franco Frattini stated that Europe needed the army to deepen the European integration, optimize the spending on military operation in NATO and repulse possible threats. A terrorist attack

A terrorist attack on the Nevsky Express on Friday night caused over one hundred victims, innocent men, women and children travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg. The search is currently under way to find those responsible for this act of sheer evil.

Friday night. 21.34 Moscow time, RZD train number 166 was travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg when an improvised explosive device with the equivalent of seven kilos of TNT was detonated under the ninth carriage of 14 in the Alyoshinka-Uglovka section near the town of Bologoye, on the border of the Regions of Tver and Novgorod.

The last three carriages left the rails, two of them turning over and trapping the passengers in the wreckage. Eye witnesses spoke of a loud clap just before the derailment, which caused 25 deaths and 96 injuries, with a further 26 people missing. Read more

iPhones and new virus

Hackers have built a virus that attacks Apple Inc’s iPhone by secretly taking control of the devices via their Internet connections, security experts said.

The virus has been detected in the Netherlands and can only attack iPhones whose users have disabled some pre-installed security features, according to analysts monitoring the progress of the virus.

The hackers are trying to use the virus to obtain passwords to banking sites, according to Graham Cluley, a researcher with anti-virus software maker Sophos. When an iPhone user tries to access a bank website, the Duh Worm directs the browser to a look-a-like site controlled by the hackers, Cluley said.

A spokeswoman for ING Group said the Dutch banking giant discovered a criminal network that attempted to steal banking credentials via hacked iPhones. Dutch clients of ING have been targeted, but there was no indication that clients outside the Netherlands have to worry, she said. Read more

Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, and Helena Christensen have been considered veteran supermodels for a while now. This year Helena turned 40, Claudia – 39, and Eva celebrated her 36th birthday. Despite multiple attempts to leave modeling business and devote themselves to their families, all three models are still among the best-paid models of the world. Generally, participating in a lingerie ad campaign at the age of 40 is a risky undertaking. But not for Helena Christensen. Last year, the model participated in a lingerie campaign for Agent Provocateur. The world is becoming unsafer by the day. Before the end of November, half a billion new terrorists will be added to the list kept by the US government.

On November 30, one day before the Lisbon Treaty is scheduled to take effect, the ministers of justice of the EU’s 27 member states will sign yet another security agreement with the US. It is supposed to be an essential weapon in the global “War on Terror” the US claims to be fighting.

Under the new agreement, the US government will get access to all the banking data of all Europeans. This means that from December 2009, every single financial transaction done by every single European banking customer will come under the scrutiny of the US authorities. Henceforth, whenever the US government suspects a European “citizen” of supporting terrorism, it can request all his or her banking data, including all bank statements as well as any and all personal data connected with the account.

NASA scientist has condemned film

A NASA scientist has condemned the doomsday film “2012″ and launched a web site, “Ask an Astrobiologist,” to quell the fears it is raising.

The film, now showing in the U.S., is the latest and most high-profile public airing of an ancient Mayan prediction that a world cataclysm will occur on the winter solstice in 2012. There have been many books and TV shows on the theory but “2012″ has had a much greater impact, creating widespread public fear that the prediction may be correct.

Dr. David Morrison, a senior scientist at NASA’s Astrobiology Institute, has become so concerned that he decided not to remain silent.
