We live in a 3-D space where everything is measured by height, width and length, and we are only capable of thinking within these limits. We know that one dimension is an endless straight line. We can easily imagine two dimensions – a subspace, or plain surface, and we can see three usual dimensions around. Yet, even academic science acknowledges that there are more dimensions out there.

Europe and USA

Europe wants to increase its weight in the world.

European army 3ffThe European Union needs the joint all-European army. The US administration is very negative about the idea. The question about the all-European army was pushed into the background after the Balkan war, when European armies were acting within the framework of KFOR and NATO. The USA believed that one needed to strengthen NATO, and everyone agreed. France was trying to show resistance to it, but after the nation became a full-fledged member of NATO on Sarkozy’s initiative, the French administration forgot about the creation of the all-European army too.

Things changed in 2009. The European Parliament established the Rapid Deployment Force of the European Union in 2009. Last week, officials of the Italian administration put forward a suggestion to look into the matter of the European Army again. Italy’s Foreign Minister Franco Frattini stated that Europe needed the army to deepen the European integration, optimize the spending on military operation in NATO and repulse possible threats. iPhones and new virus

i phoneHackers have built a virus that attacks Apple Inc’s iPhone by secretly taking control of the devices via their Internet connections, security experts said.

The virus has been detected in the Netherlands and can only attack iPhones whose users have disabled some pre-installed security features, according to analysts monitoring the progress of the virus.

The hackers are trying to use the virus to obtain passwords to banking sites, according to Graham Cluley, a researcher with anti-virus software maker Sophos. When an iPhone user tries to access a bank website, the Duh Worm directs the browser to a look-a-like site controlled by the hackers, Cluley said.

A spokeswoman for ING Group said the Dutch banking giant discovered a criminal network that attempted to steal banking credentials via hacked iPhones. Dutch clients of ING have been targeted, but there was no indication that clients outside the Netherlands have to worry, she said. Read more

My America …

200px Whitehouse north 70x70 My America ...“I am concerned for the security of our great nation; not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within” – General Douglas MacArthur.

What exactly did General MacArthur mean? Let me try to explain. The United States was founded as a Constitutional Republic based on liberty and the unalienable rights of the individual; and where the government exercised it’s limited power and authority with the consent of “We the people”. But slowly, over the course of the past 100 years, “invisible” forces have turned us into a socialist “Democracy” where government is the Ultimate power and authority; where every action of our lives is legislated and restricted, and where Rights are becoming nonexistent. (If that sounds like an absurd statement, then think about this: the United States, Read more

Brave Eves Clothes

models braveClaudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigova, and Helena Christensen have been considered veteran supermodels for a while now. This year Helena turned 40, Claudia – 39, and Eva celebrated her 36th birthday. For the modeling business, welcoming dozens of 15-16 year old girls on a daily basis, this is a very mature age. Yet, cult supermodels of the 1990s have proved once again that they would give younger models a run for their money. The gorgeous trio came together for a nude photo shoot for a cover of i-D magazine. Claudia, Helena and Eve wore nothing but tall leather boots.

Kayt Jones, a famous fashion photographer, gathered the supermodels for the photo shoot. It seems that there was a perfect understanding between the beauties and the photographer as Claudia Schiffer said: “A great models evesphotographer doesn’t stop you or give you boundaries. It’s about flow and chemistry – you just go together like a wave.”

It is unknown what Helena Christensen‘s inspiration for the nude photo shoot was. She might have decided to do it herself or the photographer might have talked her into it. Yet, the beauty from Denmark who will celebrate her 41st birthday in December appears in the photo in her natural splendor. Claudia Schiffer hides her beauty behind a purse, while Eva Herzigova covers herself with her hands.

Despite multiple attempts to leave modeling business and devote themselves to their families, all three models are still among the best-paid models of the world. Generally, participating in a lingerie ad campaign at the age of 40 is a risky undertaking. But not for Helena Christensen. Last year, the model participated in a lingerie campaign for Agent Provocateur. The pirate-inspired campaign featured the model wearing a red corsage and black stockings, swinging a sword and capturing pirates.

Claudia Schiffer, a happy mother of two children, sells like hot cakes. This year she was the face of several luxury brands, including Yves Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo, Dolce&Gabbana and Chanel.

Why mature models are increasingly more popular for ad campaigns? Experts think it has to do with the financial crisis. Before no one was perplexed when 18-year old girls advertised anti-age lotions. Now, in times of crisis, luxury brands with multi-billion profits have doubts about the appropriateness of using too young girls for their ad campaigns. Young models are no longer capable of whetting consumers’ appetite and making them pay €1,000 for a purse or €8,000 for a dress. It is time to work for those who have money, i.e., mature women. Mostly it is them who can afford an expensive miracle lotion or designer shoes. Mature women will react better to an ad featuring a woman of their age. The most famous brands do not hesitate to shoot supermodels in intimate settings since fitness, plastic surgery, makeup and airbrushing let the top models look wonderful at any age.

On November 30, one day before the Lisbon Treaty is scheduled to take effect, the ministers of justice of the EU’s 27 member states will sign yet another security agreement with the US. It is supposed to be an essential weapon in the global “War on Terror” the US claims to be fighting.

Under the new agreement, the US government will get access to all the banking data of all Europeans. This means that from December 2009, every single financial transaction done by every single European banking customer will come soldat What ? New terrorists ?under the scrutiny of the US authorities. Henceforth, whenever the US government suspects a European “citizen” of supporting terrorism, it can request all his or her banking data, including all bank statements as well as any and all personal data connected with the account.
