Island Tenerife, today with You

The Tenerife Island aims to offer a cultural, historical, natural and tourist overview of the island.

Its 269 kilometres of coast offer a wide variety of places to enjoy the sun and the sea.

In the north, where the countryside is steep with cliffs, you will find small bays and natural pools, whereas in the south, such as in the municipalities of Adeje and Arona, you will find numerous beaches, most of which are volcanic in origin.

Diving in the waters around the island is also a spectacular experience as the volcanoes have given Tenerife an original sea floor.

Cycling, golf, hiking, surfing or hang gliding are just a few of the sports you can practice here.

Tenerife is the striking in the archipelago family.

Attracting over 10 million visitors a year, the island’s most famous southern resorts offer Brit-infused revelry and clubbing, combined with white sandy beaches and all inclusive resorts.

But step beyond the lobster-red tourists and what you’ll find is a cultured and civilised island of extraordinary diversity.

Plan your trip and i recommend:

1. From traditionally rural houses and rural hotels to the latest eco accommodations.
2. Canarian restaurants, bustling markets, quaint cafes and world-class wineries – the island is a true haven for food and drink lovers.
3. The magnificent Teide National Park to the innovative Tenerife Arts Space, Tenerife is bursting with parks, museums and cultural spaces.
4. Hiking around Europe’s most dramatic landscapes to whale and dolphin watching – Tenerife is a natural playground.

Another way to enjoy the sun and sea is at the tourist resorts of the south of Tenerife, more arid and with a better climate.

Playa de las Américas, Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje certainly stand out with a wide variety of lodgings, restaurants, bars, night spots, and other amenities for the comfort of the tourist.

TenerifeAll along the southern coast, there are other smaller resorts, including El Médano for windsurfing, Costa del Silencio and the cliffs of Los Gigantes; each one worth a visit.

A good way to visit most of the interesting sights in the island is to hire a car in Tenerife which is usually a cheap option and will allow you to travel at your own pace. (http://www.anycarhire.com/car-hire/tenerife.htm)

I love the sunshine, the beaches, the people, the food and the nightlife.
