As a whole, it’s also lighter and more compact than the GF1, shaving 19 per cent of the thickness and 7 per cent of the weight, in an overall package weighing just 265g.
Video recording is provided in AVCHD, 1080i.
It also inherits the touch menu system that we first saw on the G2, but now tweaked to provide something called the “Touch-Q-menu” which lets users drag and drop icons on the interface.
The LUMIX GF2 is extremely easy to operate for consumers at any level, thanks to a newly- designed user interface, which allows for the focus to be set, or shutter released, by simply touching the large 3-inch touch-screen LCD.
