…€17,000… Thomas and Anneka Geary spent on their wedding and reception for 120 guests, £750 was paid to professional photographers Ian McCloskey and Nikki Carter of Westgate Photography.
Like most newlyweds, once the day was over, the English couple looked forward to seeing the photographs they would be able to cherish for the rest of their lives.
A month later, the photos arrived.
In some of the images, the couple were so blurred as to be unidentifiable.
In group shots, many of the guests were clearly not ready to be photographed and were looking in different directions and did not include the bride’s parents.
In one photograph, the bride and her father appear to have to share equal billing with bright red fire extinguishers.
To add insult to injury, Westgate Photography have since gone bust and, as a result, the couple could only get a 50% refund.
