Automotive Industry Fair From 26 to 28 April Kipsala in Latvia.
International Exhibition Centre offers the annual automotive industry fair “AUTO 2013” that includes four theme sectors “Auto”, “Transport Engineering”, “Auto Mechanics” and “Auto Exotica”.
With the sector “Auto” expanding each year, we have got confirmation of participation from a number of vehicle brands like Alfa Romeo, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dacia, Dodge, FIAT, Hyundai, Isuzu, Jeep, KIA, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, SEAT, Suzuki and Volvo.
Apart of the new model display this sector will also offer the competition “The Car of Latvia of the Year 2014” and an exposition of the first nominees – Ford, Mazda and Volkswagen – that have already joined the contest for the prestigious title “The Car of the Year”.
The Road Traffic Safety Directorate will pay a special attention to educational activities – visitors will be given an opportunity to measure the level of fatigue and learn how it can affect driver’s reaction in different situations.
The president of the Auto association Andris Kulbergs: “Previous years unlike, this time our slogan is “Quality service irrespective of vehicle’s age”.
Car owners will have an opportunity to get attractive service offers irrespective of how old their vehicle is. This is not intended to be a parade of new car models but mainly a sales promotion event offering a vast range of quality offers.
The automotive professionals will be given a possibility to visit the fair and to attend the annual discussion for automotive professionals “Automotive Forum 2013” held by the business newspaper “Dienas Bizness”.
“Every company dealing in the distribution and servicing brand new vehicles take advantage of the fair to show their car model range, to acquaint visitors with functionality and advantages of each of them during test rides and to address all sceptics who deny authorized services due to erroneous suppositions of different kind,” the director of Auto Blitz Ltd G,irts Zemi-tis told.
The sector “Auto Mechanics” will offer a vast assortment of auto accessories, maintenance tools, garage equipment and repair tools for use at service stations and for DIY enthusiasts.
This sector will present such flagships as ADS Serviss, Autofavori-ts, Animo, Ari-Ko Ari-vi, Inter Cars, KEMI Service, Robert Bosch, Tehnofavori-ts, Kumho Office in Latvia, Statoil Latvia, Latvijas Nafta e.t.c., as well as a number of Estonian, Lithuanian and Polish companies.
The final of the International Professional Training Competition “Auto Mechanics 2013” will be held to determine the best young car mechanics working with the most advanced equipment and devices.
The sector “Transport Engineering” will introduce big car novelties – commercial vehicles, buses, diversity of trailers, special machines and equipment – that might interest transit and logistics professionals and businesses.
Well-known brands like MAN, MAZ, Mercedes-Benz, Setra, Unimog and Volvo Truck will be presented there.
The sector “Auto Exotica” will astonish visitors with extravagance, colours and vehicles rarely seen on roads, real gems of auto tuning from other countries and many other surprises. What in particular? Follow news and you will be the first to know.
“AUTO 2012” attendance totalled to 29,123 visitors of which 5200 were invited professionals or businesspeople. The overall exposition presented 193 companies from Latvia, Belgium, Estonia, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Finland and Sweden.
