The World Beard and Moustache Championships will return to America in September 2014 with Portland, Oregon serving as host city.
This will be the third bearding worlds to take place in America. Carson City, Nevada hosted the event in 2003 and Anchorage, Alaska did so in 2009.
Beard Team USA will organize the contest which will be open to beardsmen from all over the world.
Meanwhile Team USA is making plans to travel to Germany in just two months for the 2013 world championships but will face stiff competition against perennial powerhouse Germany competing on its home turf.
With the surge in popularity of facial hair sprouting all around America, the Portland games promise to show the world just how far bearding has come here in the States.
