Maybe, because everything in “The Simpsons” is very realistic?
One of these realistic things … cars, you can see some cars which are driven by “The Simpsons” characters in real life, and I’m going to present them for you.
So, shall we begin?
“Canyonero” – Jeep Wagoneer
First example: the big red jeep “Canyonero”, which was advertised by Crusty the Clown in the episode “The Last Temptation of Krust”.
Homer Simpson bought it, but when he realized that it’s more suitable for women, refused to drive it.
The Canyonero looks like a Jeep Grand Wagoneer (1963-1991) and is said to have space for over thirty passengers.
When Bart Simpson yells to Otto: “A-a-a-a!!!
There’s a Gremlin near the bus!!!”, Otto sees an AMC Gremlin riding along. AMC (American Motors Corporation) was established in 1954, but in 1970 became Renault. 6 cylinder Gremlins with 3,8 – 4,2 liter engines were manufactured from 1970 till 1978.
In episode, where Lisa becomes a grown-up, her friends students drive her home in a “Volkswagen-Golf-1 ?abriolet” (In USA and Canada it’s also known as “Rabbit”).
Pontiac “The Beast”
This “angry” car, which Homer bought on a sale is a Pontiac “Firebird” (1967).
The camper, which was bought by Homer just to make Flanders envy, was found somewhere in USA 🙂
Mr. Skinner often confesses that he has a recessed 1995 Toyota Camry.
Moe is riding Ms Krappabel in his 1964 Ford Mustang.
Clancy rides his big family in a Chevrolet Advanced Design, the leader of car sales 1947-1955.
As a real mafia boss, he rides a big black car with tinted windows. The perfect car for him: 1997 Lincoln Navigator.
As soon as Homer replaced Fat Tony in the mafia’s boss position, he got himself a Dodge Ram 1500.
Nice Day, For You!
