Very soon, already on Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5, the largest beach festival in the Baltics “Summer Sound 2023” will take place in Liepaja.

In the first days of August, more than 40 domestic and international musicians will take to the four stages of the “Summer Sound” festival, and a wide program of entertainment and activities will be available.
If anything, there will be a cinema tent, dancing until dawn in the club “Klubs++”, which was opened last year, as well as a beach volleyball tournament.
Festival organizers invite visitors to plan to exchange tickets for wristbands in time to avoid queues at the entrance to the festival.

Visitors will be able to exchange their two-day festival tickets, with or without tent space, for wristbands at “Akropole Alfa” (Brīvības iela 371) and “Akropole Rīga” (Maskavas iela 257) from August 2 to 4 from 10 a.m. to 21.
From August 2 to August 4, festival wristbands will be available at t/c “Kurzeme” in Liepāja – the wristband exchange point will work from 4 to 8 p.m., and on the remaining days from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You will be able to stay in the festival’s well-equipped tent and camper camp, which will be open from Thursday, August 3 at 5 p.m. to Sunday, August 6 at 3 p.m.
A/S “Pasažieru Vilciens” has increased the number of daily flights with “Summer Sound” train additional flights.
The departure times of the trains are set in such a way that passengers can make it to the beginning of the festival and have a comfortable return after the end of the festival.
Trains will run: on August 4 Riga (13.49) – Liepāja (17.00) and on August 6 Liepāja (12.00) – Riga (15.11). In addition to these trains, there will also be regular scheduled Liepāja direction flights, which from 31.07. runs daily.

As usual, on the second day of the festival, there will be an opportunity to participate in a beach volleyball tournament. The volleyball tournament will take place on Saturday, August 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. One team consists of 4 players, 3 on the field and one reserve. The age of participants in the tournament is from 16 years.
You can register for the games and pay the participation fee from Thursday, August 3 at the festival box office. We remind you that on Saturday the festival territory is open to everyone free of charge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During the week of the festival, residents and guests of Liepāja have the opportunity to attend free concerts in Julianna’s yard, which have already become a tradition.
On Wednesday, August 2, “Smells like the rain”, Madara, “Embark”, Baiba, “B Optimist” will perform, and on August 3 – Kristiana Miller, “2tie”, “Midnight Projects”, “Audiokvartāls” and “Erased By Sunrise” “.

At the “Summer Sound” festival, the DJ and producer association Medusa from Italy, the kings of electronic dance music, DJs and producers Felix Jaehn and Alle Farben from Germany will take the stage.
Gustavo, the loudest domestic hip-hop musician, will return. Estonian legendary indie-rock band Ewert And The Two Dragons, Ukrainian sensation Kalush Orchestra and a constellation of domestic music stars will also take part in the festival.
